Sports & Leisure
The Andro-switch thermal ring is ideal if you want to play sports or exercise as maintaining the testicles in an upper position can actually increase comfort. Here are some of the questions we have been asked about using Andro-switch while exercising.
As a rule, anything you can do without the ring, you can do with the ring.
Can you use the Andro-switch while exercising?
Yes, as a general rule, the Andro-switch thermal ring is entirely suited for physical activity.
However, for any sports that can cause testicular trauma or direct testicular contusion such as contact sports or combat sports where you risk getting hit with a knee or a foot or team sports where you risk getting hit with a ball, please refer to your doctor before wearing the ring while practising. The same goes for any sport discipline or activity involving the use of a climbing harness, harness, pelvis belt, as well as for sports requiring a medical certificate.
Can I swim with the Andro-switch on?
Yes, you can swim while wearing the Andro-switch.
The Andro-switch thermal ring is very discreet. You don't have to worry about it showing.
We do, however, advise you to allow enough time to get used to it before you start wearing it confidently while swimming.
Can I use the Andro-switch while traveling?
Andro-switch is made for traveling.
Just one thermal ring is enough, although we do recommend you always have a second one or another testicular lifting device at hand in case you lose it for instance.
Reusable and easy to carry, Andro-switch does not take up any space in your luggage. The thermal ring makes your life easier, whether you’re only travelling with a carry-on for a business trip or backpacking in remote areas of the world.
